 June 5, 1935, Hobart Mills, California:  Hobart
 Southern Railroad Company 2-6-2 locomotive #8 poses
 in the bright afternoon sun.  The Hobart Southern was
 an eight-mile standard guage railroad built from the
 Hobart Estate Co. Mills to Truckee, California.
 Originally belonging to the company, the line by this
 time was a wholey owned Southern Pacific subsidiary.
