SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
===========================

IMAGE INDEXING:
The Southern Pacific Company picture database is very large, and it contains a wide variety of subject matter. While in many cases it is easy to list by subject like those views which relate to the Daylight and/or its family of GS locomotives, in most cases we have had to index and define the material in other ways. Also, it is pure drudgery to run through over 300 pictures one at a time. Thus, we have split the database into more managable sub-sections which follow: Where possible we have indexed first by the letters "SP" and then by locomotive number. Likewise, in all cases each item is listed in alpha-numeric order. To view this portion first click on a sub-section in blue and then each file item within that sub-section.
