"C&EI Pacific 1008 was streamlined in 1940 for the Chicago
to Evansville, Indiana leg of the Dixie Flagler. 1008 had
extensive reconstruction to its nose after a collision
with a truck. The reconstruction resulted in 1008 being
even more streamlined than it was prior to the collision."
