Image, Maine 2-ft. Bridgton & Saco River #7 Order No. BSR07I The three car Bridgton & Saco River train, with 2-4-4RT #7 has just made this early 1900's stop at Bridgton, Maine. Begun in 1882, this 2-ft narrow gauge line would go on for many years operating much like what is seen here. It would add five miles of track to Harrison, be purchased by the standard gauged Maine Central in 1912 with whom it connected at Hiram, go belly up in 1927, but linger until running its last train in 1941 under the reorganized name of the "Bridgton & Harrison."
